What is denier?
On a technical point, denier indicates the weight (thickness) of the yarn. In addition, 1 denier equals to the 9000 meters long yarn’s weight. The softness and transparency increases as the denier number decreases. The more deniers the more sheer the product is. The less denier the more sheer the product is.

Elastane:
It is most known for the trademark (of Du Pont) name “lycra”. It is a fiber that has a feature of stretching and recovering. Elastane some time found covered or double-covered which gives addition durability .

Micro-fiber:
It is a fiber with less than 1 denier per filament. There are large numbers of filament found in microfiber. It gives a great softness and quality to the product.

Looking after your hosiery:
Wash your hosiery by hand, in lukewarm water with mild and gently liquid cleaning detergent. Squeeze them gently after the washing. Do not use any kind of softer or bleach. Do not ring or put it in a dryer. Hosiery products are highly sensitive please do not forget to remove any kind of accessories as jewelry before hand-washing.
